The centralization of the administration of UM IT staff is a strategic approach to balance the increase in demand for skilled IT Staff by PTjs ( Responsibility Centres) across the university in response to Post Covid push towards Digital Transformation (DX) for sustainable future

1. Aims to gain usage optimization of current available ICT technical staff (via effective mobilization - need based).
2. To adopt agile and adaptive assignment and reassignment of expertise to cater for demand around campus.
3. To establish better synchronisation of the implementation of ICT strategic plan throughout all level of users
4. To create conducive environment for collaboration across functional entities and among the campus communities.
