A complete translation of the 120 Chapters, a collaborative effort by Dr. Seng Yan Chuan and Dr. Khor Boon Eng, with editing by Datuk Zainal Abidin Borhan. This translation is based on the Gengchen edition and primarily references the People's Literature Publishing House's third edition (published on the year 2007) of 'Dream of the Red Chamber.'

The volume begins with forewords by Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid, Chairman of the Yayasan Karyawan, and Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy, Honorary Chairman of the PEJATI (Persatuan Siswazah Jabatan Pengajian Tionghoa, Universiti Malaya). It also features an introduction by the Chief Editor, Datuk Zainal Abidin Borhan, and a preface by Dato Ng Tong Hai, Chairman of PEJATI. In addition, readers will find personal introductions of the translators, Dr. Seng Yan Chuan and Dr. Khor Boon Eng, along with their insights into the translation of 'Dream of the Red Chamber.'

The translation consists of a total of six volumes. The first four volumes are attributed to Cao Xueqin, while the last two volumes are attributed to the editors Gao E and Cheng Weiyuan. Each volume is complemented by character introductions for the Jia family, a comprehensive list of featured names, explanatory notes on homophonic names and metaphors, and a character relationship chart. The entire work includes 40 Chinese-style illustrations from the 'Dai Dunbang New Illustrated Edition of Dream of the Red Chamber.

百廿回全译本。由孙彦莊SENG YAN CHUAN，许文荣KHOR BOON ENG合译，DATUK ZAINAL ABIDIN BORHAN编辑。此翻译本底本为庚辰本，据人民文学出版社《红楼梦》排印本（2007年第三版）为主要参照版本。

卷首有国家作家基金会主席TUN AHMAD SARJI ABDUL HAMID、中文系毕业生协会荣誉主席丹斯里陈广才的前言，总编辑DATUK ZAINAL ABIDIN BORHAN、中文系毕业生协会主席丹斯里拿督黄东海的序，译者孙彦莊、许文荣的个人简介，以及译者对《红楼梦》译本的介绍。

译本共6册，前4册标明著者为曹雪芹CAO XUEQIN,后2册标明编者为高鹗GAO E与程伟元CHENG WEIYUAN.每册后边附上贾家主要人物介绍、该册出现的人名索引、人名谐音与隐喻的注释、人物关系表。全本选用了40幅《戴敦邦新绘全本红楼梦》中国风插画。
