The launching ceremony of "Lead and Grow: 115 Years of The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor"

The launching ceremony of "Lead and Grow: 115 Years of The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor" was held in The Cube, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya on 13^th February 2023 at 2:30 p.m.

During the ceremony, HLMRC-UM received a precious gift from The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (KLSCCCI) - a Sun Wen's reproduction painting on silk, "Jia Yuanchun return home to celebrate the Lantern Festival".

It is a gift from KLSCCCI Director Mr. Chua Ngeun Lok, from his personal collection. FASS Dean YBhg. Datuk Professor Dr. Danny Wong Tze Ken, received the painting on behalf of HLMRC-UM, from KLSCCCI President Datuk Ng Yih Pyng, and witnessed by KLSCCCI Honorary Life President Tan Sri Datuk Ter Leong Yap, and UM Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato' Ir. Dr. Mohd. Hamdi Abd. Shukor.

Sun Wen of Qing Dynasty, painted the whole Copy of A Dream in Red Mansion on silk scroll, with the Chinese realistic style. The original album is enshrined in the Lushun Museum, China.
