ABOUT IECH

The Insight Exchange and Capacity Hub (IECH) serves as a platform for knowledge sharing, data compilation, operational analysis, and policy development on emerging issues and trends in social security within the ASEAN region. 

IECH envisions a region where social protection systems are inclusive, evidence-driven and resilient. It aims to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning by facilitating knowledge exchange, documenting best practices and building technical expertise across member states. Through specialised training, analytical support and a robust data observatory, IECH aspires to empower policymakers and practitioners with the tools and insights needed to design and deliver effective, equitable and sustainable social protection for all.

As a platform, IECH is consistent with ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA) vision and mission of promoting cooperation and knowledge sharing to strengthen social protection systems across Southeast Asia.
