The workshop was an initiative of EURAXESS ASEAN with the support from the Asia-Europe Institute, University of Malaya. The workshop was conducted by two European expert trainers Mr Jesús Rojo González, Technology Transfer and European Programmes, EEN MADRIMASD Project Coordinator, NCP Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions and Mrs Melanie ten Asbroek – Braamhaar, Grant Advisor with the EU Office at Twente University in the Netherlands. Both Melanie and Jesús have vast experience in guiding researchers through the grant application process for EU funds.
It was a comprehensive and interactive full-day workshop that covered all aspects of effective proposal preparation for a European Postdoctoral Research Grants with a focus on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-Individual Fellowships (MSCA-IF).
It provided a valuable platform to more than 30 researchers, scholars, postgraduate students, and academics for cross-disciplinary and international research interaction. The workshop had fruitful discussions which highlighted a number of questions from the audience that enriched the researcher’s mindset on the MSCA-Individual Fellowships.
