Evi is lecturer of the International Relations Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia and was Head of the Department from 2012 to 2016. She is the Head of Miriam Budiardjo Resource Center and co-founder of UI Master Program on European Studies and the ASEAN Study Center. She is also the Indonesian Country Coordinator of the NEAT. She completed her doctorate program at the Australian National University in 2011 and was educated in Indonesia, the UK, the USA, Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Hungary. She obtained 13 international awards. She is the author of Southeast Asians and the ASEM: State’s interests and institution’s longevity (ISEAS Singapore 2014) and eight book chapters. Her latest publications are ‘Regionalism and Global Powers’ (ISEAS, 2017) and ‘Trump Presidency and Indonesia’ (Contemporary Southeast Asia, April 2017).
