Lawatan Penanda Aras Program Basmi Miskin Tegar dan Projek Komuniti Tertumpu oleh Pusat Pengajian Pembangunan Ungku Aziz (UAC), Universiti Malaya (UM), ke Fakulti Sains Sosial dan Kemanusiaan, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) telah berlangsung pada 5 dan 6 Disember 2024.
Tujuan lawatan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan delegasi UAC dan UMS, berkongsi hasil penyelidikan serta perkembangan Program Basmi Miskin Tegar di Wilayah Persekutuan dan Sabah, serta memperkukuhkan jaringan kerjasama strategik antara kedua-dua institusi.
Sebagai simbolik permuafakatan, satu upacara pertukaran Dokumen Surat Niat (Letter of Intent, LoI) turut diadakan bagi menandakan komitmen bersama dalam usaha memperkasa program pembangunan komuniti dan menangani isu kemiskinan tegar.
The Benchmarking Visit for the Hardcore Poverty Eradication Program and Focused Community Projects by the Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies (UAC), Universiti Malaya (UM), to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), was held on 5 and 6 December 2024.
The purpose of this visit was to introduce the delegations from UAC and UMS, share research findings, and discuss the progress of the Hardcore Poverty Eradication Program in the Federal Territories and Sabah, as well as to strengthen strategic collaborative networks between the two institutions.
As a symbol of mutual commitment, a ceremonial exchange of the Letter of Intent (LoI) was conducted to signify a shared dedication to empowering community development programs and addressing issues of hardcore poverty.
