Please be informed that the Universiti Malaya Main Library will undergo renovation works to develop the new Collaborative Learning Area (COLA).
The closure involves: Selected areas on Level 3 and Level 4, New Wing, Main Library
The renovation period is scheduled as follows: 10 November 2025 to 10 September 2026
During this period, there will be noise disturbances, especially during the early phase of work such as hacking and drilling. Hacking and drilling activities will begin at 5.00 p.m. daily.
Users who require a quieter environment are encouraged to use the library before 5.00 p.m. or access other unaffected floors.
We apologies for the inconvenience caused and greatly appreciate your patience throughout the renovation period of the project which aims to enhance the facilities at Level 3 and Level 4.
