Brief description:XRD is a versatile, non-destructive  technique for identificationof various crystalline forms (phase) of compound present in powder and solid samples. Identification is achieved by comparing X-Ray diffraction pattern – obtain from the sample with  internationalrecognised database containing reference  pattern more than 70,000 phases. Modern computer-controled diffractometer system use automatic routines to measure, record and  interpret the unique diffractogram produced by individual constituents in even highly complex mixture. Empyrean has the unique ability to measure all sample type – powder, thinfilm, nanomaterial and solid object on a single instrument.
